  • Loosen soil from potted plants to prevent the accumulation of stagnant water on the surface of the hardened soil.
  • Do not block the flow of water in scupper drains along common corridors in HDB estates. Avoid placing potted plants and other paraphernalia over the scupper drains.
  • Cover rarely used gully traps. Replace the gully trap with non-perforated ones and install anti-mosquito valves.
  • Cover bamboo pole holders after use. Rainwater can potentially accumulate in these bamboo pole holders if they are uncovered and create a habitat.
  • No tray or receptacles should be placed beneath and or/ on top of any air-conditioning unit so as not to create a condition favourable for mosquito breeding.

Every other day

  • Change water in flower vases. Clean and scrub the inner sides of vases. Wash roots of flowers and plants thoroughly as mosquito eggs can stick to them easily.

Once a week

  • Clear fallen leaves and stagnant water in your scupper drains and garden. These leaves could collect water or cause blockages to the drains, thus resulting in the buildup of stagnant water.
  • Clear any stagnant water in your air cooler unit.

Cuando un turista argentino visite Japón por 10 días, le recomiendo que se quede en mi casa para poder conocer como la gente japonesa vive y come. Después le recomiendo que visite Tokio. Tokio es muy grande. Once millones de personas viven allí. Hay muchos negocios como en Buenos Aires. Venden muchas cosas y todo es caro. Pero los productos electrónicos y los artefactos eléctricos son mas baratos, mejor y nuevos. Tokio es ... ¿Qué recomiendas que haga/vea/compre/coma... cuando visite un turista Japón?
Cuando un turista argentino visite Japón por 10 días, le recomiendo que se quede en mi casa para poder conocer como la gente japonesa vive y come. Después le recomiendo que visite Tokio. Tokio es muy grande. Once millones de personas viven allí. Hay muchos negocios como en Buenos Aires. Venden muchas cosas y todo es caro. Pero los productos electrónicos y los artefactos eléctricos son mas baratos, mejor y nuevos.
Tokio es capital de Japón desde hace cuatrocientos años. Hay muchos cines, teatros y restaurantes internacionales como Hindú, tailandés, argentino, peruano, italiano, francés, alemán, mexicano, coreano, español, etc.
Hay diez milongas también. La entrada es 2.000 yenes, 50 pesos.
Hay un castillo llamado "Edo" donde viven emperadores.
Mi casa está cerca de Tokio a 60 kilómetros. Mi ciudad es famosa por un antiguo Kamakura shogun de hace seiscientos años. Hay muchos templos y santuarios. Son de la época de Samurai. Está cerca del mar. Está rodeada de montañas bajas. Todo es verde. En frente de Kamakura hay una isla chiquita que se llama Enoshima. Desde ahí se ve el monte Fuji. Es hermoso.
Yo le recomiendo que vaya a Hakone que está cerca de mi casa, a cuarenta kilómetros. Hakone es una montaña alta con volcán. Todos los hoteles tienen termas. El paisaje es bello. Yo pienso que Hakone es uno de los lugares más hermosos del mundo. Podemos ver el monte Fuji muy cerca de ahí, se ve muy grande y majestuoso. El lago "Ashi" también es hermoso.
Sobre las comidas yo le recomiendo "Sushi" que es pescado crudo con arroz. Hay muchos tipos de pescados crudos, treinta o cincuenta tipos.
También podemos comer pez que se mueve cuando lo ponemos en la boca.
Otra comida es "tempura" que yo pude comer en Buenos Aires, es pescado frito. Pero hay solo merluza y salmón aquí. "Tempura" son muchos tipos de pescado y verduras.
¡¡ Ahora yo quiero volver a Japón!!

Para la masa:
1 kilo de harina 0000,
200 gramos de grasa derretida= manteca,
550 cc. aprox. de agua tibia con una cucharada al ras de sal (salmuera tibia).
* Unir todo y amasar, dejarla reposar cubierta para conservar la humedad mientras se prepara el relleno.
Para el relleno (recado):
350 gramos de cebollas blancas,
150 gramos de grasa de vacuna o manteca
1 kilo neto de carne cortada a cuchillo (roast-beef o sobaco, nalga, bola de lomo),
1/2 kilo de papas,
250 gramos de cebolla de verdeo de fina textura,
1/2 cucharada de pimentón,
1/3 cucharada de ají molido,
pimienta, Comino, y sal gruesa,
4 huevos duros.

  • Pelar y cortar las papas en pequeños cubos.
  • Hervirlas junto a los huevos. Retirar y dejar enfriar.
  • calentar una sartén y derretir la grasa o manteca, limpiar y cortar las cebollas y fritarlas por unos minutos, agregar la carne y los condimentos(sal,pimienta,pimentón, ají,comino) mezclar todo mientras se cocina. Dejar enfriar.
  • Picar la cebolla de verdeo y los huevos, agregarlos al recado.
  • Mientras estirar la masa y cortarla para armar pequeños bollitos y estirla para cortar círculos que llenaremos con el recado.
  • Opcional puedes agregar Aceitunas, Arvejas, Pasas de uvas.
  • Hornearlas o fritarlas… y ¡Buen Provecho!

Fed up with my shoddy grades, my mother uprooted me from my uniformed girls’ academy—the kind of place where your status was a coefficient of dodge-ball throwing velocity and midterm math grades—and sent me off to a sort of new-wave experiment in learning where you went around in bare feet and called ... At the age of twelve, I did something all embarrassed preteens dream about and few outside the witness protection program ever get a chance at: I reinvented myself. Fed up with my shoddy grades, my mother uprooted me from my uniformed girls’ academy—the kind of place where your status was a coefficient of dodge-ball throwing velocity and midterm math grades—and sent me off to a sort of new-wave experiment in learning where you went around in bare feet and called your teacher Bob. Unless, of course, his name was Sally.


It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Along with the enchanting and terrifying presence of boys, came the beauty of starting with a clean slate. No longer was I the loner who slept through math and found diagramming sentences a complete waste of time. Transplanted, I became a popular, vivacious biology whiz, admired by all for my ability to map out a phrase in Latin or English. I had found my people.

All of you who long to pull into the pit stop of life and have your reputation rotated: your vinous patron saint is Malbec.

Malbec is a grape with a second-rate role in Europe...

The old people of the place says that Esteco was a very rich city. That all there was made of gold and of silver. That people were bad and proud. That when someone predicted them that the city will get lost for a tremor they deceived and they went to the stores to buy bands of color tremor. When they dropped something of silver they didn't bend over to pick up it. It is said that God came and predicted the punishment and asked for somewhere to stay at.
Only a very poor woman put up him and she believed him. When Esteco got lost, God left the city with the woman and her baby. He had ask her that she must not give turn, but the woman turn to have a view of the city and she became stone.
Twice Esteco has gotten lost, the city has been in two parts. They say that the first Esteco has collapsed in a lagoon. The other Esteco has collapsed in the earth for an earthquake and now there is not but that mount.

Complete with the Past tense:
a)Pretérito Imperfecto: Era, Eran, debía, Habían, estaban, levantaba, resplandecían
b)Pretérito Indefinido: rió, pidió, salió, llegó, volvió, ayudó, tembló, hundió, escuchó, obedeció, transformó

The categories are two: Tango saloom and Stage Tango for couple.
New talents will show their skill and they have to communicate Passion and charm of tango on stage.
